tara fe sufi dance here in kuwait , in al-mansouriah area at al refaea diwan… one night i have attended the event but they do it kuwaiti modern style ! it is a spiritual thing , and actually it’s started since the early days of islam …

It is nice to experience new things from different cultures. I learned it from my father who always insisted when we travel to attend theaters, musems and other cultural occaisions. Every summer he’d rent a car and my mother is his navigator, and we’d tour the country we’re at. Once we toured the west of France starting from Dauville and all the way down until we reached Marsielle and down to Antibe. On the way, we’d stop at every city or town and we’d visit Chateauxs and forts, try their specilized delicacies. It is these memories that never fade away from my mind, and it is what traveling is all about in my book.
And inshallah I’ll be visiting Istanbul and let the boys experience a Sufi dance, which, by the way, is a spiritual dance.
I love the pictures you took. They are amazing
